What We've Achieved

  • Logan Gaff Cutter Ariki, the Alpha Male of the Waitamata, had a full 18 month overhaul to bring her back to first classic racing form.

  • Townson 32 Mahina had a recaulking of her teak decks and a full interior and cabin top repaint.

  • The J Class Endeavour was varnished by a Marine Skills team at the Yachting Developments yard prior to her re-launch.

  • Charles Bailey juniors Viking is under Marine Skills care. This 64 foot masterpiece built launched in 1893 had a full rig birthday in 2009 and receives regular maintenance from the team.

  • The 1947 Collings and Bell yacht Ngatiawa was given an extensive birthday in 2025; interior deckhead makeover, cabin top sealed with ply an glass, tweak to rig and deck plan to improve handleability and performance, upgraded deck hardware.

  • The Col Wild carvel bridgedecker launch, Tasman, had foredeck revamp as part of her rolling restoration

  • Classic A Class yacht Prize is raced, cruised and maintained all within the family, as she has been for the last 90 years.

  • Vikings little sister, the pristine Rogue, on prominent display in Westhaven Marina, is now under Marine Skills wing.
